Medicine Balls

A medicine ball, also known as exercise ball and fitness ball, conditions the body and develops endurance, strength, coordination, core strength and balance. It is normally made of leather, vinyl and/or nylon filled with impact absorbing materials like sand to give it weight. A medicine ball is a great multi-purpose training tool that can be used alone or with a partner. Sports involve several explosive movements requiring strength and power developed through regular use of a medicine ball. The exerciser simulates the movements of a sport using the medicine ball.
